Loch Lomond is the largest freshwater loch in Scotland. It popularity is largely due to the song "The Bonnie Banks 'O' Loch Lomond". The southern end of the loch is scattered with a host of pretty islands.
Maid Of the Loch
The "Maid of the Loch" is a paddle steamer harboured at Balloch Pier. It is the last paddle steamer built in Britain and is open to the public each day between Easter and October, weekends the rest of the year.
