Your first view of Duart Castle would probably be from the ferry sailing to Mull. It stands on a crag overlooking the sea. The castle is open to the public between April and mid November.
Tobermory Harbour
Tobermory is famous for its colourful waterfront of brightly painted buildings. The harbour is a busy place with fishing boats and the ferry sailing in and out. Tobermory has a good variety of shops and restaurants.
Iona Abbey
Just a short hop from Mull is the island of Iona with its famous abbey. The abbey dates back to the year 563 when St Columba built a monastry here. It has become a site of historic christian pilgrimage.
Calgary Bay
Calgary bay has silver sands on a clean and uncrowded beach joined by a grassy meadow. Located on the North West coast of Mull its desolate location make it a beautiful spot to visit.
